One of my own steadfast rules is that I trust dog people and, to the same degree, I’m wary of those who aren’t dog people. Garrett Anderson is a - if not the - dog person. In the coming pages, his kindness, his empathy, and his artistic talent are on full display.

Garrett Anderson is a writer, creative director, and lifelong dog lover who splits his time between a farmhouse in Vermont and the buzz of Los Angeles. His work blends heart and humor with a deep belief in the quiet wisdom of everyday life. Love, George began as a private letter of grief and became a beautifully illustrated guide to living—written from the perspective of his beloved dog, George, after he passed away.

Garrett’s storytelling is rooted in transformation—whether through words, design, or daily rituals. With a background in theater, a passion for baking, and a flair for finding meaning in the smallest moments, he brings tenderness, wit, and emotional clarity to every project. He is the creator of an ever-growing collection of creative works centered on love, legacy, and finding your way home, including a new play called THE LAST SLICE.
